NEWS FROM NAKHEEL

News alert for your furry friends!

The JVT Residents Community website wishes to share the following notice issued today from the master developer about pets in the neighborhood. Please contact Nakheel directly for any further information. Scroll down for their e-mail. Happy reading!

25 July 2019

Dear owners and residents,

In the interests of residents’ health and wellbeing, and following a number of comments and observations from residents, please be advised that pets are not permitted in certain areas of the community. These pet-free zones, including children’s parks, sports courts and playing fields, are clearly marked with sign boards.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind pet owners of our Community Rules and Regulations, which are designed to promote safe, harmonious living.  Please follow these rules, and educate family members and domestic staff so that they too are familiar with the regulations:

  • Dogs must be kept on a leash and under the handler’s full control at all times within the Master Community when not within the secured boundary walls of a resident’s plot.
  • Owners are fully responsible for removal of their pets’ excrement in a prompt and sanitary manner.
  • Owners are fully responsible for damage caused by their pet, including damage to landscaping by digging, defecation or urination.  Owners will also be held responsible if their pet causes personal injury to another property, tenant, guest or member of the public.
  • Subject to applicable laws, Nakheel is authorised to request the relevant authority to impound and remove any animal from the Master Community if it is considered a nuisance or threat to the community.

We look forward to your co-operation on this matter.
